Nestled in tranquil

A
note from the home owners...
We
researched Timber Frame homes, and when we first saw Brian's finished work we
knew that we wanted his team to build our dream home.
Every
phase, from design to finished product, was awe- inspiring. The communication
of ideas from both sides was wonderful, making construction stress free
for us.
Their
experience and dedication to detail, made our home very special. They
are the best !

Timberframe
structures take advantage of the strength of large framing members to
create wide-open interior spaces. Our insulation, heating and ventilation
methods ensure comfort levels are not sacrificed.
We have not used
stress skin panels in our homes to date as most are designed to take
advantage of spectacular views. Where wall spaces are mostly glass we
feel it is not advantageous to use these panels.
We prefer to use fir Plywood on 2"x6" infill in our construction rather
than Strand Board. With this method the plywood is nailed directly to
the frame creating a more rigid structure. Rigid insulation has been
attached on the outside of the plywood on this house to increase the
R-value.
