All photos may be clicked to view enlargements.Built on a quarter section of farmland the Noji farm-house is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional farm-house. Designed to accommodate a large family with numerous and varied activities as well as many family pets, the house functions well, providing plenty of public and private spaces.

The main floor contains all the public rooms centered around a large gathering room. A Rumford fireplace rises two floors to become the main focal point. A large country kitchen that flows into the dining space rounds out the main public rooms. The master suite is also on the main floor giving the parents some privacy from the children's bedrooms and play areas.
The second floor contains four large bedrooms , each with a unique shape and detailing of its own. A library, two full baths and a mezzanine overlooking the great-room complete the second floor lay-out.
The exterior of the house features large covered verandas timbered in a Japanese style, broad overhangs to shelter the house from the summer heat, shingled gables, cedar fascia and trim. Despite the size of the house and large expanse of south facing glass the owners contend it has never needed air conditioning and benefits from solar gain in the winter months.
